WTC Appoints Laith Al Barmawi as MENA Ambassador

Laith Al Barmawi is a recognized leader in entrepreneurship, innovation, and youth empowerment across the Middle East and North Africa. As Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programs Manager at Al Ahliyya Amman University, he has launched initiatives such as startup incubators and strategic bootcamps that equip young innovators and businesses to thrive in competitive markets. His work connects academia, industry, and policy to build ecosystems that foster sustainable growth and global connectivity.

Beyond his institutional role, Laith has extensive experience in international collaboration and community leadership. As part of the Global Shapers Community (Amman Hub), a World Economic Forum initiative, he led projects on re-skilling, environmental stewardship, and civic engagement, amplifying youth voices and driving impact. His selection for the European Union Visitors Program highlights his credibility as a thought leader in entrepreneurship and diplomacy.

As WTC’s Ambassador for the MENA region, Laith leverages deep regional networks and cross-sector expertise to catalyze partnerships and position MENA as a hub for trade, investment, and sustainable development. In this role, he represents WTC’s mission, builds strategic relationships, and provides insights on emerging trends to enrich global programming.

Through ecosystem development and partnership building, Laith creates opportunities for innovation, investment, and cross-border collaboration, strengthening WTC’s presence and shaping the future of technology in the region.
